Our Founder, Heather
I’m Heather Delaney, founder of Recrea VA — a virtual assistant service dedicated to supporting fashion, creative and sustainable businesses. With over 20 years in the fashion industry, I’ve built my career at the intersection of sustainability, creativity, and entrepreneurship, and I bring that unique blend of expertise into every client partnership.
My background spans buying for global brands such as Ralph Lauren and Mothercare, and later, teaching at the London College of Fashion as a Lecturer in Fashion Business, where I specialised in Product Management, People Management and Business Analytics. I’ve also held leadership roles as Interim Course Leader and Year Lead, supporting the next generation of fashion professionals.
Through this experience, I’ve seen first-hand the challenges creative businesses face — juggling endless admin, client communication, project deadlines and content demands, all while trying to stay true to their creative vision. That’s where Recrea VA steps in.
