Later, she dedicated several years to lecturing at the University of the Arts London (UAL), London College of Fashion's Fashion Business School. There, she shared her wealth of knowledge in various fashion management disciplines and was a Year Leader, providing pastoral support, and an Interim Course Leader for the MSc Strategic Fashion Management course.

Heather's extensive industry experience led her to develop a wide range of transferable skills, such as communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, time management, adaptive thinking, organizational efficiency, and innovative creativity.

Inspired by teaching future fashion change-makers and driven by the vision of helping fashion businesses thrive, Heather founded Recrea VA.
